Site Usage
We do not sell, rent or share your personal information to third parties, however we may have to disclose your personal information if we receive a valid court order to do so, or if you pay by debit or credit card. When you pay by debit or credit card, your personal information will be sent to our card processor Bank Of America, which has it’s own privacy policy, which is here: https://web.bankofamerica.com/en/privacy.
If you pay us by card, we collect and transmit your card information over an encrypted TLS connection to our card processor, Bank Of America in order to process your payment.
In addition to personal information provided to us at checkout, we also have a record of your purchase history on our site, which is tied also tied to your personal information.
You also have the option of making a personal account on our website, it is optional, not required to use the site or make orders and is provided as a convinience. Upon account creation, we collect and store your email address and have the option of saving the information you provided to us at checkout to be saved in your account. Your purchase history is also stored in your account. You can delete your account and personal information in it at any time by sending us an email to contact@foodupandmore.com. Your account and personal information within it will also be deleted automatically after 90 days of inactivity.
Our website is hosted on servers managed by Hostinger, we manager our website and Hostinger stores our website, the data in it (including any data you provide to us). We use Hostinger’s service to host our website and serve it to you. Without a place to host and serve our website, it would not be usable. People Under 18 years old
Our Website is not intended for children under 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect, use, or disclose Personal Data from children under 18. If you believe that we have collected, used or disclosed Personal Data of a child under the age of 18 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), please contact us via email contact@foodupandmore.com so that we can take appropriate action.
How long we retain your data
We retain your personal information (mentioned in the above section “site usage”) for 90 days, this includes order history. Pending orders that have not completed will be deleted after 7 days. You may send us an email to contact@foodupandmore.com to have your all your information including order history permanately erased. We retain your account and the information within it unless there is no activity (which includes logging in) for 90 days or if it is deleted.
Card purchases, however are collected by our card processor Bank Of America, which has their own data retention and privacy policy. Your bank may also retain information about your card purchase on our site, they have their privacy and data retention policy.
We do our best to secure user data and follow industry best practices for data security such as using encrypted tls encryption for all connections to our website, keeping the software on our end up to date, using strong passwords, collecting only data that is necessary to fulfil your request and not storing data for longer than is needed. While we do the best we can to secure your data, no security or sftware is 100% safe, especially online which means that there is a non zero percent chance that any data in our site, including any information you share with us may get compromised in a data breach, however we do our best to keep this as close to a zeropercent chance as possible.
What rights you have over your data
You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for legal purposes such as a court order.
